Directors Commentary

 

I have created a directors commentary to show the audience my intended preferred reading of different codes within my film my film which I have specifically added. These are codes and conventions of my chosen genre. I presented my directors commentary within a table with a section with the timecode and scene that the codes are in, and then a section where I talk about the media language I have used followed by the preferred reading of the language. I have done this as it benefits my film due to ensuring I use the correct codes and conventions of my genre to ensure the audience are positioned to see the narrative how it is intended. I can also ensure I use a wide variety of different conventions throughout further benefitting my production and film overall.
